Marie Weingart-Roberts Obituary

Marie A. Weingart, 57, of Salem, passed away on March 10, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center after her short battle with colon cancer. She was a devout Christian and went home to be with Jesus.

Psalm 91:1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

She was born March 29, 1966, in Salem, daughter of the late James and Mary (Sevenich) Weingart.

Marie was an exceptional women who made a positive impact on her family and those around her. She was a dedicated sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother with an unwavering desire to create a loving environment for all of those around her. She found her happiness in cooking for others and offering her help to those in need. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to praise songs in her free time. Marie made it her life’s mission to provide the best support and resources for her handicap daughter Savannah. Marie’s only wish was that everyone would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior so she can be reunited with them again.

She is survived by her son Justin (Adrian) Weingart, daughter Savannah Roberts, brother Jerry (Lora) Weingart, grandchildren Grace and Chloe, niece Jacqueline (Dave) Mercer, and partner Richard Sekley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy and John Weingart.

A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
