Pamela M. Johnston 47, of Washingtonville, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of March 1, 2024.
Pam was an overcomer from a young age. She had several health issues throughout her life, but she never let them slow her down. With limited mobility, the phone was a tool she could make use of very easily. It allowed her to keep in touch with friends and family and take a call when a need arose. She was extremely loyal and loved fiercely. She was all about family, being in the gatherings, and spending time with nieces and nephews. If the time was good, she loved to go out to Texas Roadhouse or Olive Garden for some good food and quality time.
She was a very hard worker, protective and took pride in her things. She also had a unique side to her life. She had a keen interest in all things Supernatural, including the show (especially an interest in Dean, played by the actor, Jensen Ackles). Pam loved The Nightmare Before Christmas and much of her home décor included Jack and Sally.
A 1995 graduate of Beaver Local Schools, Pam spent a couple of years in college and eventually made her way into the workforce, holding various jobs and had been a team leader at Ventra in Salem.
She is survived by her siblings; Pedro (Tami) Paniagua, Mandi (Donald) Cronick, Petrina (JB) Barnes and a stepbrother Adam Jackson, parents; Pamela Lee (Elliott) Jackson, Pedro Paniagua and a daughter Victoria Groves.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
