A. Karen Johnson 73, Redwood City, Calif., Burial was held on Monday, 1:30 Pm at the Smith Township Cemetery, N. Benton. A private family viewing and funeral service was held Monday morning at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.

Karen died on February 22, 2014 at 4 AM at her home in Redwood with her longtime caregiver Ruth Alcantar.

She was born on November 28, 1940 in Frametown, W.Va., the daughter of the late John Franklin and Myra Victoria (Craft) Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Curt, Frank, Clyde, Christine and David Tinley and Joanna Goff., siblings Sharen (Ken) O'Brock, N. Benton, Walter (Maridel) Jackson of Iowa, and George Johnson of Carrollton, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Chuck McLaughlin.
