Alan Paul Roberts 77, of Salem, passed away in his home on Monday, November 18, 2024.

He was born on September 24, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio. Alan served in the United States Army from 1966-1969 during the Vietnam War. He was a machinist for Crane Deming Pump Manufacturing. Alan enjoyed hiking and was a small time inventor and herbalist. He loved to collect things, especially guns and cars.

He is survived by his siblings Robin (Elaine Hartman) Roberts of Shrewbury, Massachusetts, William Roberts of Rogers, Ohio, and Claudia Saldo of Petersburg, Ohio.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Greenisen family of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
