Albert Leeroy Shultz JR, 74, of Leetonia, passed away at 8:44 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in the ER of Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 15, 1949, in Salem, the son of the late Albert Leeroy Shultz SR and Helen Louise (Ingledue) Shultz.

Albert was a resident of Leetonia and worked in various locations throughout the area as a grinder. He was a very happy, loving, caring person who enjoyed helping people. He liked to work on mowers and enjoyed making things out of wood. Albert loved going to car shows, boating, fishing and watching WWE.

He is survived by his wife, Velma Jean (Wolford) Shultz, whom he married December 29, 1993, his sons Frank Shultz and Jamie (Cathy) Shultz both of Salem, his daughters Stevie Jo House of Salem and Tracy Jenkins of Alliance, his step-son Jeffrey Libert, step-daughter Teresa Spiker, and his brothers Larry and Daniel Shultz all of Salem, as well as sixteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Larry Shultz-Armagost, a step-son Timothy Libert, and his brothers Frank and Will Shultz.
