Alice M. (Siers) Drummond 83, of Salem(formerly of Columbiana) died at 3:35 PM Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Salem West Healthcare Center.

She was born on August 12, 1941, in Berlin Center, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Floda (Yerkey) Siers.

Alice attended the Beaver Local School and resided in various locations in and around the area. She will be fondly remembered as the "Poppy Lady" from the VFW Post 5532 Aux. In Washingtonville as well as their Chaplain. Alice was an avid bowler with her husband and also enjoyed needle work. She volunteered with RSVP and Ohio Living. She enjoyed traveling and took a cruise with family. Alice attended the Greenford Christian Church in Greenford, Ohio.

She is survived by her children; Cheryl Ann (John) Tyson and Jeffrey Allan Drummond both of Leetonia and Betty Lou (Jim)Walker of Austintown, sister; Kathleen Kittinger of Canton, nine grandchildren; Rebecca (Derrick) Brown, Kelly Pavelko, Virgil (Ashley) Phillis, Tabetha (Anton) Langer, Nicole Drummond, Brandy (Michael) Huckleberry, Jeffrey Drummond, Eilzabeth Drummond, and Tony Nichols and eighteen great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan L. Drummond on January 29, 1996, whom she married on August 25, 1957, a brother William Siers and a grand daughter, Jenny Phillis.

Services will be on Thursday, August 22, 2024, 12:30 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. John Bush of the church will be officiating. The burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. A time of visitation will be from 11:30 to 12:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
