Andrew Joseph Palusak 84, of Columbiana, passed away at 8:30 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in his home.

He was born on July 18, 1941, in Youngstown, the son of the late Andrew F. and Gertrude (Yavorick) Palusak.

He was a 1959 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and also attended YSU for a short period of time. Andrew worked in the tool and die industry as a machinist. He enjoyed walking the dog, watching Broadway shows, woodworking, and building and repairing computers. Andrew was considered a Jack-of-all-trades. He was a member of the Columbiana Historical Society and for a time held the title of president.

Andrew is survived by his children; Vikki Shaffer and Derek Palusak, grandchildren; Alexander (Ann Marie) Shaffer and Tina (Jesse) Bollinger, and brother Russell (Renate) Palusak.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death on December 23, 2024 by his wife, Barbara Jean (Koehler) Palusak, whom he married October 12, 1959.
