IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annabelle (Heinze)
Huffnagle
May 3, 1930 – November 27, 2023
Annabelle (Heinze) Huffnagle, 93, of Salem, passed away peacefully at 7:45 PM on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Briarfield Place in Boardman.
She was born May 3, 1930, at home on Cherry Fork in Leetonia, Ohio, daughter of the late Albert William and Viola Frances (Patterson) Heinze.
Annabelle has been a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Leetonia High School. She had been an active member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, served in the choir and bell choir. She was a very simple lady who stayed at home to raise her children and care for the home. As she got older, she and her husband liked to travel. Annabelle enjoyed spending time with her sisters and other family members. The one big thing she did in life was going out shopping. If a unique paper weight was found, it made its way back to join her collection. She will always be remembered for what tasty treats came out of her baking.
She is survived by her daughters Jane (Harold) Franklin of Salem with whom she made her home, and Joyce (Clayton) Ayers of Texas, her sister Lila Lipply of Columbiana, her grandchildren; Kathleen Hendon, Anna Foster, Whitney Salazar, Jeremy and Chelsey Ayers, her great-grandchildren; Luke and Landon Hendon and Bair and Lucio Salazar and her daughter-in-law, Helen Huffnagle in Texas.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Starkie Huffnagle, her sons Darryl and Denny Huffnagle, her siblings Janet Gabriel, Margaret Wilkinson, John and Blaine Heinze, grandson Knute Bernard, and a Special nephew Keith Lipply.
A private family event will be held for her to be laid to rest in Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia, Ohio.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Greenisen family at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
