Anne Augusta (Benning) Huffer - Copley 93, of Newport, Tenn, (Formerly of Salem, Alliance and Warren, and moved to Newport in 2005) died at the Newport Convalescent Center on Monday, January 27. She was born on September 24, 1920 in Alliance, Ohio, the daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine (Roth) Benning. She worked as a Back Stamper in Salem China, and Royal and Lamage China in Sebring, Ohio. She had been a member of the Salem First Christian Church. She is survived by her children Gary Huffer of Texas, Diane (Huffer) Ferko of Chandler, Ariz., and Linda (Huffer) Rosberg of Del Rio, Tenn., her grandchildren, Gary, Hollie, Kevin, Lisa, Cameron, Ursula, Aaron, Kellie, Doug and their families spread across America numbering fifteen great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert E. Huffer whom she married in 1939 and died in 1977, and her second husband, William (Bill) Osborne Copley whom she married in 1980 and died in 1984, a grand son Cameron Ross Culp, three sisters, Freida Jurs, Dorothy Mulhleim, Katherine Thomas and a brother Samuel Benning. Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 10:30 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, the Rev. John Bush of the Greenford Christian Church will officiate. Her family and friends will be gathering one hour prior to the service for a time of visitation.
