Arlene Mae (Percy) Summers 71, of Sebring, died at 9:20 PM Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1943 in Alliance, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frederick and Ruth (Bell) Percy. She was a home maker, lived most of her life in the Alliance/Sebring area and attended the Perry Street Chapel. Arlene enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and coloring. She loved her old style country music by Loretta Lynn and all the music of Elvis. Her favorite programs were the Walton's, Little House on the Prairie, Game Shows and following the Dallas Cowboys. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Thomas Summers whom she married on February 8, 1963, her children, Raymond (Kay) Summers of Sebring, Lester Summers of Salem, Oscar Summers of W.Va. And Eileen (Donald) Steed of Salem, siblings, Frederick Percy of Alliance, Ronald (Marsha) Percy of Sebring, Irving Percy of Alliance, Henry (Beverly) Percy of Atwater, Shirley Mangus of Maximo, Bernice Mansfield of Alliance and Gail Welsh of Alliance, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 5 siblings, Donald, Roy Lee, Darlene Reed and two infant twins. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 1 PM at the Perry Street Chapel, 332 W. Perry Street in Alliance, The Rev. Rocky Newman will be officiating. The burial will follow at Alliance City Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Donations can be sent to help with expenses in care of the funeral home.
