Barbara Jeanne (Busche) Wilczek 86, of Salem, died at 3 PM Tuesday, November 8 at Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 5, 1930 in Salem, the daughter of the late Samuel and Della Rose (Crawford) Busche. She was a lifetime area resident and was employed for 23 ½ years for the Hanna Mullins School of Practical Nursing and retired in 1995. She went on to volunteer for 10 more years at Salem Community Hospital. She loved her work and all the wonderful people she met over the years. She also enjoyed playing video games after work, reading a good mystery book, watching TV and going out dancing at Bronco's. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Sue (Fred) Horning of Salem, two grandchildren, Todd Wm. (Jessica Marie) Horning of Kent, Ohio and Aubree Ann Horning of Salem, and two great grand children, Truman and Beckett Horning of Kent, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband, William G. Wilczek whom she married on February 11, 1951 and who died on February 11, 1976, a brother George Frederick Busche. Services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 3 PM, at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. A time of visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM Saturday. The burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery.
