Obituary

Bette K. Pavlina 68, of Greenford, died at 7:20 AM Friday, July 17, 2015 at Hospice House in Poland. She was born on August 18, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio. She grew up in Greenford, Ohio, daughter of Hazel (Oneacre) and Robert May. Paul Howell was her biological father. Bette was a 1964 graduate of Greenford High School and worked 30 years for the Hunt Valve Company as a contract administrator. She had formerly worked at Mullins Mfg. Bette was a life long member of the Greenford Christian Church and her passion was sewing, quilting and knitting. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Pavlina, brothers Gary (Gloria) Howell of Coffeeville, MS., Robert (Linda) May of Salem and a nephew Brian (Brenda) May of Lisbon. Services will be on Tuesday, July 21, 7 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. John R. Selders will be officiating the services. A time of visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
