Betty Louise (Anderson) Hammond 93, of Salem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation of Salem.

She was born September 26, 1931, in Mecca, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert and Louise (Lorent) Anderson.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert E. Hammond, daughter Margaret Snyder-Vance, two step-daughters Terry Gattrell and Joyce Hammond, grandsons Jesse Cottrell, Vernon Hager, Jason Hager, and Dennis Sheesley, granddaughters Cinnamon Hager-Claiborne and Chrissy Sheesley, as well as many great-grandchildren.
