Obituary

Betty Lou (Rector) Louk, 90, of Salem, Ohio passed away at 11:20 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Auburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born October 18, 1934, in New Martinsville, West Virginia to the late Webster and Sena (Loy) Rector.

She was the office manager of her husband's trucking business and formerly a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Canton. She was a loving mother who tirelessly gave of herself to others, leaving herself to the last.

She is survived by her children; Don Bryan (Chris) Louk, Ronald Edward (Donna) Louk, David Allan Louk and Michael R. (Burt) Hicks and six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2020 by her husband of 67 years, Donald Earl Louk, whom she married in 1953, and her siblings; Robert, Charles, Darrel, and Franklin Rector, Martha Dawson, Mildred Brown, Genova Jamison, Lahoma Taggart, and Ollie Thorne.

She and Don will be entombed in Grandview Cemetery in Salem.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
