Betty Jean (Eibling) Ryan 81, of Goshen Township, Salem died at 3:22 AM Wednesday at Salem Community Hospital. She was born on January 15, 1931in Payne, Ohio to the late Royal and Charlotte (Cook) Eibling. She has been a resident of the area since 2004, but resided in Florida, Las Vegas, and in the New Garden area. She has been an accountant all her life and last served with the Ohio State Auditors office. She enjoyed her flowers, traveling many trips around the country. A wonderful artist in painting and a great puzzle person. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Price of Salem, two sisters, Grace and Marcele Anderson both of Indiana, a brother John (Wife Shirley) Eibling of Van Wert, Ohio, four grandchildren, Jeff Coons, Danielle Price, Brittany Percy and Olivia Small, and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her second husband, John Ryan, two sons Michael and Douglas Coons, a sister Ida Samintigger and a brother George Eibling. Services will be held on Friday, 11 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Sylvia Beard officiating. The burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
