Betty Lou (Weingart) Malmsberry 86, of Beloit, died at 12:55 AM Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Courtyard on Lexington Avenue in Salem. She was born on May 12, 1928 in Goshen Twp., Mahoning County, the daughter of the late Herbert and Lillian (Kampher) Weingart. She is a lifetime area resident, home maker and a member of East Goshen Friends Church. She was a longtime volunteer at Copeland Oaks and in her spare time enjoyed her children grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Timothy Mark Malmsberry and Terry Jon (Lynne) Malmsberry both of Beloit, grandchildren, Jeri (Matt) Close, Nathen Malmsberry and Kacie Malmsberry, great grandchild Kennedy Close, sisters Shirley Braden of Salem and Erla Lee of Calif. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene whom she married on December 24, 1946, and passed away on November 24, 2009. Services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014, 2 PM Service at the East Goshen Friends Church, the Rev Gerald Baker officiating. The burial will immediately follow in East Goshen Cemetery.
