Bobby Joe Ross 66, (formerly of Salem and Sebring) died at 6:45 AM Saturday at his home with his family at his side in Calcutta. He was born on March 12, 1949 in Cornettsville, Ky., son of Bobby Jean Riddle - Ross and the late William Henry Ross. He was last employed at FreshMark Foods, and retired in 2012. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. There was nothing that made Bobby happier than to be around old cars, family, friends, his dog Rudy, and just sitting around talking. He is survived by " His Girls", Crystal (Aaron) Ross-Byers, Rebecca (Jon) Ross, his mother Bobby (Ron) Whaley, Nephew and best friend William Ross and Rudy his dog. Three brothers, Jack (Pat) Ross, Tom (Carla) Ross, Larry (Mary) Ross, two sisters Linda Webber and Kay (Mike) Smallridge, 12 nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Wm. Henry Ross, two brothers, Danny Rea Ross and Henry Ross, great nieces Nicole Lee Ross, Roxy Ross and Erma Jean Rifle. Services will be held on Wednesday, 7 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. P. Doug George will be officiating the services and conclude with the Salem Honor Guard rendering military honors. Bobby will be laid to rest Thursday in Hartsgrove Cemetery in Hartsgrove, Ohio.
