Brenda Sue (Milhoan) Phillips, age 74, of Salem, passed away peacefully in her home on August 16, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Born on September 3, 1951, in West Virginia, Brenda was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Margie Milhoan. Throughout her life, Brenda possessed a vibrant spirit and a heart full of warmth. She found her greatest joy in the simple, beautiful moments of everyday life—whether she was casting a line out on a quiet fishing trip, cozying up for some gaming, or spending time outdoors making memories while camping.

Above all, Brenda’s true legacy is the family she built and adored. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas J. Phillips Sr., her son Larry Gene Evans, and one grandchild.

Brenda’s memory and spirit will live on through her devoted children, Thomas Jones Phillips Jr., Paul Jones (Shannon) Phillips, Patrick Howard (Angie) Phillips, and Karen Sue Phillips.

She was a proud and loving matriarch, survived by her 7 siblings, 13 living grandchildren, and 16 living great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Brenda's life on August 22, 2026, from 2–4 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.

Brenda’s warmth, laughter, and fierce devotion to her family will be deeply missed and eternally remembered by all who knew and loved her.
