Carol Jean (Butream) Malmsberry 82 of Salem, died at 8:37 PM Sunday at Essex Of Salem #3. She was born on January 30, 1930 in Salem to the late James and Thelma (Notman) Butream. She was a home maker and a lifetime area resident. She was Methodist by faith and had been a volunteer at Salem Community Hospital and with RSVP. She is survived by her children, Rhonda Lynn (Paul) Malmsberry-Stewart of Lisbon, Roger Allen Malmsberry of Aliquippa, Pa., Kimberly Kay Malmsberry-Barkley of Spartanburg, SC, and Todd Jay (Ruby) Malmsberry of Coconut Creek, Fla., siblings, Eunice Sidner of Lisbon, Ihla Rae Donnelly of Lisbon, Donald (Jeanie) Butream of Lisbon, Dewayne Butream of Lisbon, and Shannon Butream of Las Vegas, NV., ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rolland J. Malmsberry whom she married on April 10, 1955 and who died on March 31, 1990, a son, Russell James Malmsberry in 1981and a brother Jim Butream. Services will be held on Friday morning at 10 AM at East Goshen Cemetery.
