It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles "Chuck" Elmer Duke JR, 70, of Leetonia, who passed away at 1:03 PM Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Mercy Health - St Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Chuck was born December 11, 1952 in Youngstown, son of the late Charles Elmer and Mae (Wiles) Duke SR.

He grew up in the Youngstown area and graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1971. Chuck served his country from 1972-1976 during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was a selfless, genuine, hilarious man who always had a story to tell. He devoted his life to his family and will be remembered for the joy he brought to all who knew him. He was and avid pool player throughout his life and was a member of various pool leagues with his cue stick "Betsy".

Chuck is survived by his wife, siblings, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Per Chuck's request, no services will be held. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
