IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Lewis
Harris
April 5, 1950 – December 29, 2024
Charles Lewis Harris 74, of Salem Twp., died at 8:50 PM on Sunday, December, 29, 2024, at Salem North Healthcare.
He was born April 5, 1950, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of the late Harland Paul and Martha (Reed) Harris.
Charles was a 1969 graduate of East Liverpool High School. He worked at the former General Motors Plant in Lordstown, Ohio, and after 38 years he retired as an assembly line inspector. There are many fond memories of grandpa playing ball with his grand daughter Harper when she was young. Charles enjoyed watching movies, shooting pool, and fishing. He was an ornery fellow but touching his hat was no joke to him. Two of his favorite things were dogs and cars. He followed Cleveland sports teams and rooted proudly for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sherry Lynn (Harley) Harris, whom he married October 13, 1984, his children Joshua (Casey) Harris of Leetonia, Ohio and Tina (Darnel) Burgess of Red Rock, Oklahoma, brother Daniel (Mary) Harris of East Liverpool, grandchildren; Harper, Amara, Montana, and Dakota, and his great grandson Waylon.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his siblings Harland, Carlton, and Diana Harris and grandson Wyatt Burgess.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
