Charles Jeanneret
1942 – 2026
Charles Jeanneret, age 83, passed away at his home in Butler Township, Salem, on March 11, 2026. Born on July 12, 1942, in Rittman, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Miriam E. (Brenner) Jeanneret.
A lifelong self-employed professional, Charles was known for his independent spirit and hard work. In his earlier years, he was an active member of the First Brethren Church in Rittman. He was reunited in death with his beloved wife, Helen I. (Rouse) Jeanneret, whom he married on September 10, 1984, and who preceded him in death on June 14, 2016.
His legacy lives on through his children Tammy and Ted Jeanneret, his sisters Mary (LaVerne) Steiner and Doris (James) McGrew both of Orrville, and his brother Richard (Penny) Jeanneret of Wadsworth.
No services will be held. Burial at Highland Memorial Park, will be at a later date.
