Clifford Ralph Jones, 72, of Hanoverton, died at 7:09 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

He was born March 28, 1951, in Youngstown, son of the late Harley and Hester J. (Clepper) Jones.

Clifford was a 1970 graduate from West Branch High School. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1971, leaving to defend his country during the Vietnam War, he served until 1985 and was honorably discharged. Clifford went on and continued to serve in the National Guard. He worked for many years as a tow truck driver for Bob McCracken at Bob Chamois House. Clifford was a hard working individual and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He very regularly liked to go fishing and also enjoyed huntin

He is survived by his brother Harley Wayne (Betty) Jones of Homeworth, Ohio and his sister Emily (Mark) Fotia of Maple Heights, Ohio.

There are no services planned.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Greenisen family at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
