Creston (Butch) Green 70 of Lake Placid, Fla., formerly of Highlandtown Lake, Wellsville, died Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was born on December 2, 1944 in La Croft, East Liverpool, Oh., the son of the late Bus and Luella Green. Butch was married on October 25, 1963 to the former Darla Faloon for 52 years. He had worked at the Patterson Foundry in East Liverpool, the family owned Valley Drive-In in Highlandtown, and PGT Trucking. He last worked for the Morning Journal until this past year when they retired to Florida. Butch was a loving husband, a proud father to his children, Donald (Cindy Harris) Green of Andover, Oh., and Crystal (David) Harrison of Salem, and will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Justin, Adam and Emily Potter and Danielle and Gabrielle Harrison, his faithful dog, Toome, siblings, Bill (Delcie) Green of Wellsville, Mike (Pam) Green of Bergholtz, Chuch Green of East Rochester, Barb (Don) Shaw, Anna Sisley, Jolene Green, Mary (Dan) Harris and Connie Green all of East Liverpool, and Donna (Jack) Steffen of Alabama. He was preceded in death by siblings, Don and Tom Green and Shirley "Katie" Holava. A Celebration of Life Service and Remembrance of both Creston "Butch" and Darla will be held on Saturday, October 3, at 2 Pm at the Yellow Creek Presby. Church in Wellsville. The Rev Bill Betridge will be officiating the services at the church. Arrangements by the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
