Darla Sue (Faloon) Green 70, of Salem, Oh., and Lake Placid, Fla., formerly of Highlandtown Lake, Wellsville, died at 3 AM Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio following a short illness. She was born on February 14, 1945 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of the late Maurice and Alice (Rowley) Faloon. She was a kind and warm to all she met. She will be greatly missed. Darla attended the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church in Wellsville, She was last employed with her husband at the Morning Journal in Lisbon. She and her husband were ones to travel south for the winters and stay in the Lake Placid, Florida area. Darla was married on October 25, 1963 to Creston (Butch) Green for 52 years and preceded her in death by 67 days on July 26, 2015. Darla was a loving wife to her late husband, a proud mother to her children, Donald (Cindy Harris) Green of Andover, Oh., and Crystal (David) Harrison of Salem, and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Justin, Adam and Emily Potter and Danielle and Gabrielle Harrison. A Celebration of Life Service and Remembrance of both Darla and her husband Creston (Butch) will be held on Saturday, October 3, at 2 Pm at the Yellow Creek Presby. Church in Wellsville.
