David Allen Boyce, 60, of Salem, OH, passed away early Monday morning at 12:48 am, July 5, 2021 at Salem West Healthcare in Salem.

He was born on January 13, 1961 in Salem to his parents; the late Carl and Ruby (Stahl) Boyce.

David was employed in a variety of occupations over the years including gas attendant, Lake Manager at Pine Lake and Evans Lake, as well as, a builder/construction worker. David enjoyed several hobbies. He liked to spend time in the garden, going hunting, and cooking. As a teenager, David started out in the Boy Scouts and worked his way up to Scoutmaster, eventually to an instructor for archery.

David is survived by his wife of 34 years; Barbara Ann (Evans) Boyce, whom he married on February 28, 1987. His step-children; Joshua (Tammy) Dickey of Columbiana, OH, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Absher of Knoxville, TN, Jonathan Hager of Washingtonville, OH, sister; Diane Boyce-Beiling, nephew, Bill Beiling, niece; Heather (Mike) Dixon.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother; Carl "Kenny" Kenneth Boyce Jr.
