IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Wayne
Donnalley Sr.
August 4, 1961 – June 1, 2015
David Wayne Donnalley 53 of Salem, died Monday morning at his home due to a long illness. He was born on August 4, 1961 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Nellie V. (Young) Donnalley - Houdyshell and the late Jack Donnalley. David had been employed at the former Eljers Plumbing and Bathroom Fixture Company in the tub hanging department. When family was asked about Dave and things he enjoyed or things that made them think of him. They almost all said MOPAR. He enjoyed NASCAR, building and racing cars on and off the drag strip. a 1967 Charger and a 69 road runner were cars he rebuilt to mantion a couple of them. He enjoyed talking (hours) and his loud heavy metal music. There were fond memories of his siblings going to concerts of heavy metal music, hunting and dirt bikes. Dave was known to call in and talk and was known as Double D to Nick Andrews on Fm 103.9. There will be a tribute to David on FM 103.9 on June 3. In addition to his mother and step father Jim Houdyshell of Salem, he is survived by two sons, David W. (Carrie Levis) Donnalley Jr., and Shawn M. Donnalley both of Salem, siblings, Jack of Salem, Tim (Dee Dee) of Beloit, Rob (Gale) of Salem, Diane (Todd) Stokes of Boardman, and a half sister Jamie Houdyshell, two grandchildren, Danaka Donnalley and Chase Brown of Salem, and the mother of his children, Diana L. Donnalley. There are many others that he has touched over the years. He had made many friends and build strong bonds with others. His family and extended family have suffered a great loss. David would not want a sad time but a time to look back on the good times and memories. He has taught all of you many things. Take his lessons and use them to help your self or others as he would have. You will keep him and his legacy always with you. The family is following the wishes of David's that there be no services held. The family had a private gathering Tuesday evening at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services in Salem. Please go and sign Davids guestbook at www.apgreenisenfh.com.
