David Hofmann 76, of Berlin Center, died on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Blossom Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Salem.

He was born November 28, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Lawrence and Evelyn (Rominger) Hofmann.

David was a son, a brother, a friend, an uncle, a husband, a father, and a neighbor.

He was retired from the former GM Lordstown Plant. He especiall loved to go fishing and work on his own cars and those of others who could not afford to take their cars to a shop.

Dad was all of these things throughout his life. He had a few childhood friends still in his life until the very end.

His nephews and nieces, his neighbors, and all three of his children loved him very much.

We'll all miss him, and hope he knew how much he was loved and appreciated.

He is survived by his wife Carol (Kollat) Hofmann, children; Jacob Hofmann, Julianne Hofmann, and Steven (Raylene) Hofmann, as well as his relatives, friends, and his neighbors.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his siblings, Nelda Anderson, Shirley Hofmann, and Ted Hofmann.
