David H. Spatz 76, of Salem, died at 11:23 PM Saturday at Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 26, 1938 in Louisville, Ky, the son of the late Harold and Antoinette Spatz. He was a retired as a Controller at American Standard, a veteran of US Army and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Wanda J. Yeager, Children, Ross David (Lisa) Spatz of Florida, Robert David (Wendy) Spatz of Salem and Jeffery David (Wendy) Spatz of Mason, siblings, Fred (Deanna) Spatz of Cincinnati, Phyllis Donlon of Kentucky, and Paul (Diana) Spatz of Arizona, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. A service will be held on Friday, 10:30 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, and a 11 AM Mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. Robert Edwards will be the Celebrant. The burial will follow in Hope Cemetery where the Salem Honor Guard will provide military honors. A time of visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday and from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Columbiana County Humane Society.
