IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Allen
"Tramp" Gorcheff
December 21, 1952 – December 7, 2022
David Allen "Tramp" Gorcheff, 69, of North Lima, died at 2:17 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Salem Reg Med Ctr.
He was born December 21, 1952 in Salem, son of the late Thomas Paul and Catherine Louise (Reed) Gorcheff.
David grew up on a chicken farm and was a lover of animals most specifically horses, dogs, and cats. He was in the last graduating class of North Lima High School in 1971. Tramp was a drifter and a ladies man, traveling the country and living off the back of his beloved motorcycle, a 1959 Harley Panhead, which he affectionately called his "first wife". But even as he got older Tramp still enjoyed looking at the ladies. He preferred listening to Classic Rock, Country, and Folk-style Country music and loved art, especially tattoos. David was artistic and a proficient tattooer and also talented in the craft of leather working. He created works of art on the skin and beautiful leather saddlebags for motorcycles. In his downtime he enjoyed watching WWE wrestling.
He is survived by his children; Brandon Jeffery Wise Gorcheff of North Lima and Kelsey Marie Gorcheff of Columbiana, his siblings; Madeline Morris of Orlando, FL, Carolyn (Robert) Brady, Thomas Gorcheff both of Columbiana, and Rhonda Gorcheff-Jones of North Lima, and his nieces and nephews; David Ray Vankirk, Michelle Vankirk, Dennis Brady, Thomas Gorcheff III, Emily Graffius, Jody Graffius, Andrew Graffius, and Connor Jones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death in 2015 by his wife Patricia (Wise) Gorcheff.
