David Allen Webb 63, of Salem, died at 5:01 PM Friday in the Emergency Room of Salem Regional Medical Center after taking ill at his daughters home. He was born on July 24, 1952 in Spencer, W.Va., the son of the late Benjamin J. and Helen L. (Skidmore) Webb. He had been the produce manager at Salem Giant Eagle, but recently semi retired to a produce stocker. He had also been employed as a machinest at Turner Machine, Butech and Advetech. David had been spending more time lately helping to remodel his daughters home for the arrival of his second grandchild. He loved his family and especially his little Peyton. A former bowler and Eagles member, enjoyed sports and remodeling homes. In the nice weather, you would find him outdoors caring for his lawn. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy L. Roberts, whom he married on January 21, 1977, his daughter, Ashley Jean (Kevin) Borovitcky, Grandchild Peyton all of Salem, sister Janet Sue (Bob Goetz) Wischerman of Leetonia, many nieces and nephews, numerous cousins. Services will be on Tuesday, 12 PM, at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. Kim Bergman will be officiating the services with burial at Grandview Cemetery. The Salem Honor Guard will provide military honors at the cemetery.
