Denise Ann (Goehring) (fka Plegge, Stoffer) Krebs 62, of Salem, died early Saturday morning, August 20, 2022, at her home.

She was born on October 17, 1959, in Massillion, Ohio, the daughter of Mary A . (Arbaugh) (fka Goehring) Forsythe and Edwin Goehring Sr.

Denise grew up around the family business. In her early years working at the Dinner Bell Restaurant, later on she moved on to Penn Grill, Marks Landing, Spinnaker's Restaurant and last at the Spread Eagle Tavern. She became a part of these places over the years and often returned to visit.

Denise had attended school in Canton and Salem. She had a great personality and enjoyed being around people and having fun. She loved to cook and everyone enjoyed what she made. Denise found pleasure decorating her home, planting flowers, making new things out of old stuff, but most of all, being a good grandma.

She is survived by her daughters; Danielle (Richard) Pasco of Salem and Deidra (Robert) Sutherin of Lisbon, siblings; Sabrina (David) Brewer of Canfield, Step siblings; Diana (Ronald) Heath of Louisville, Pastor Charles "Chuck" (Melinda) Forsythe of Beaver Creek and Jeffrey (Glenda) Forsythe of Tuscarawas, Half siblings; Chris (Cindy) Goehring, Jerry (Brenda) Goehring, Heidi (Cameron) Rolands and Kim (Tabby) Goehring, her step mother; Bonnie Goehring and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father Charles E. Forsythe and a brother Edwin Goehring.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, 2 Pm at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. Her brother, the Pastor Chuck Forsythe will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held from Noon to 2 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
