Dolores Ann (Duke) Campbell 87, of Aurora, (Formerly of Salem) died at 9:47 PM Monday, April 28, 2025, at Avenue of Aurora.

She was born on April 10, 1938, in Salem, the daughter of the late William Oliver and Lucille (Circle) Duke.

She was a 1956 graduate of Salem High School, went on to obtain her degree in nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She served as a head nurse at the Salem West Unit Clinic Hospital and Salem Community Hospital. Dolores served on the West Branch School board from 1974 to 1984 and was president in 1980 and 1983.

She is survived by her sons; Brian (Melodie) Campbell, James (Erin) Campbell Jr and David (Karen Hyde) Campbell, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, sister; Patricia Ward.

She was preceded in death by her husband on December 12, 2014, James Orville Campbell Sr., whom she married on April 20, 1957, siblings; William Oliver "Billy" Duke Jr. and Denise Bryan.

Services will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2 Pm at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Pastor David Andrews will be officiating.  A time of visitation will be from 1 to 2 Pm on Saturday. She will be laid to rest in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
