Dolores June (Poorbaugh) Volio 94, of Salem, died Monday evening, October 18, 2021, at Blossom Nursing and Rehab. Ctr.

She was born on June 3, 1927, in Salem, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Crossland) Poorbaugh.

Dolores was quite a crafty person. She made use of her ability to sow clothing and make her crafts. There was a short time she worked at one of Salem's famous dress shops and was a typesetter at the Salem News Paper.

She and her husband John traveled around looking for antiques to purchase and later refinish. They were also known for going out and playing tennis as health permitted. They were also "snowbirds", and traveled to their home in Florida. Dolores and her lady friends loved to gather for Card Club. This was a big fun thing that they did and took very seriously.

She is survived by her two children; Claudia (David) Cundiff of Kent and John (Vicki) Volio of Salem, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
