Donald L. Knotts 77, of Champion Twp, died at 8:10 AM Thursday at St. Joseph Medical Center. He was born on May 6, 1937 in Inglewood, Ca., son of the late Edward Wm. And Mildred Eunice (Rice) Knotts Sr. He had been a truck driver for 15 years, but had also been a painter, carpet layer, dump truck driver and a Reserve Police Officer in Inglewood, Ca. He is survived by children, Donald Lee (Debbie) Knotts Jr., Stephen Louis Knotts, Timothy Layne (Elaine) Knotts, Marilyn Lucille (Ken) McNeish, Patti Jean (Rick) Carnes and Don Charles Byrne, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and his long time help mate and companion Lucille Marie Byrne. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Wm. Edward Knotts. No services to be held
