Donna Lee Keoppel Morton, 90, passed peacefully to her eternal home on Monday, November 10, 2025, from Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana, Ohio. Affectionately know as Abbey, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

She was a veteran, serving in the US Air Force in the 1950s. She was also a barber stylist and enjoyed writing and painting. She was a believer in Christ and professed to having had her sins forgiven.

Eventually, she enjoyed living in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, area for over 40 years, then moved north in recent years to be with her son and family.

She is survived by her sons Gregory (Beth) Keoppel of Salem, Ohio, and John Benedict of Costa Rica, her grandchildren; Donna Joy (Derek) Cox, Nathan Keoppel, Aaron Keoppel, and Koa Forese, her great grandchildren Treyson and Kaelyn Cox, and many treasured friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Morton and her brother Donald Abbott.

A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, with Pastor Stanley Grabill officiating, along with military honors by the Air Force Reserves and the local VFW. A private burial will be on a later date at the Bay Pines National Cemetery in Florida.

Heartfelt thanks to the Parkside Health Care Center and Canfield Sanctuary Hospice for their excellent caregiving during the last months of Abbey's life.
