Doris E. Greenamyer 82, formerly of Salem, died at 6:34 PM Saturday at Copeland Oaks Retirement Community, Sebring. She was born on may 13, 1932 in Salem, the daughter of the late Arthur Greenamyer and Dorothy (Burcaw) Greenamyer Rankin. She was last employed at Crane-Deming Pump Company for 48 years. She had been a member of the Eastern Star, an avid bowler in Salem, a Graduate of Goshen High School and enjoyed her puzzles and cats. She had formerly attended the Salem Presbyterian Church, but more recently attended at the Damascus Methodist Church. She is survived by her sister Dorothy L.Mercer of Damascus, nieces and nephews, Denise and Herman Jay Linder, Gary Mercer all of Salem, great nieces and nephews, Carey and Jamie Weingart, Jodie and Marc Keck, Dustin and Angie Linder, Shawn (Lindsey Peters) Linder, great great nieces and nephews, Brianne and Brandon Metts, Colton, Judson and Maxon Weingart and Connor Linder. Services will be on Tuesday, January 20, 3 PM Service at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev Bob Amey of the Damascus church will be officiating. The burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Salem. A time of visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 to 3 PM. Donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley 1120 Village Plaza, Columbiana, Ohio 44408.
