Dorothy Belle Arter 96, of Salem, died at 9:05 PM Friday at Essex of Salem # 2. She was born in Alliance, Ohio on January 16, 1919, the daughter of the late Laverne and Wilda (Hoffman) Arter. She retired in 1976 as a Radiology Tech from the Salem Community Hospital after working many years. She is survived by her care giver, Pamela Reitz of Salem, cousins, Meychele (Steele) Johnson, AZ, Joyce Thorpe, Alliance, and Jamie Steele, NC. No services to be held.
