Obituary

Dorothy Marie (Dominick) Lydic 89, of Sebring, formerly of Youngstown, died at 8:39 PM Friday at the Crandall Medical Center of Copeland Oaks Retirement Community. She was born on August 4, 1925 in Urey, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Macheta) Dominick. She had resided in Youngstown, Houston, Tx., Salem and Sebring. She worked in the drapery department of JP Penny at the Southern Park Mall for 12 years and retired in the early 1990's. She attended the St. George Orthodox Church in Houston, Tx., and a member of the St. Mark Antiochian Orthodox Church in Youngstown. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Robert) Heimbaugh and Patty Chamberlain both of Huffman, Tx., her grandchildren, Tricia (Daniel) Pulley of Cuyahoga Falls, Traci Chamberlain of New York, Keith (Debra) Heimbaugh of Houston, Tx., Karen (Justin) Heimbaugh-Kovalcik of N. Hills, Ca., and a great granddaughter Dorothy Adele Heimbaugh. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard T. Lydic on December 23, 1955, and whom she married on November 11, 1950, and all her siblings, Kate, Michael, Frank and baby Alex Dominick, Anna Lewis and Olga Orehoski. The order of Christian Burial service will be observed on Monday, 11 AM at the St. Mark Antiochian Orthodox Church (3560 Logan Way, Youngstown, Ohio) with the Celebrant to be V. Rev. Father Daniel Rohan. The burial will follow in Lake Park Cemetery. A time of visitation will be observed one hour prior to the services at the church. Donations can be made to the church (POB 148, Youngstown, Ohio 44501) or to Copeland Oaks Retirement Community (800 S. 15th Street, Sebring, Ohio 44672) Arrangements and services were entrusted to the care of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
