Dorothy (Jackson) McMichael 87, died at 5:40 PM Sunday at Community Care Center at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on July 27, 1927 in Salem, the daughter of the late Harley and Roxanne (Reed) Jackson. She was Catholic by faith and was formerly employed at Salem China in the glazing room. She is survived by her sons, Kellogg (Lynn) McMichael Jr of Leesburg, Fla., and Douglas (Yvonne) McMichael of Washingtonville, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kellogg J. McMichael on October 18, 2000, a grandson, two brothers, Charles and George Jackson and two half brothers, Bob and Richard Endres. Services will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Fr. Steven Wassie will be officiating, and the burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
