Edwin Lee Goehring Jr. 60, of Salem, died at 12:58 am, Tuesday, November 8 at Hospice House, Poland, OH. He was born on October 24, 1956 in Massillon, the son of Edwin Lee Goehing Sr. of Strasburgh, OH and Mary A (Arbaugh) (Goehring) Forsythe of Salem. He served in the Army, at home and abroad from 1976 to 1992. After his time of service, he returned to Salem where he worked for Compass (nka) Falcon Trucking Company until he retired on November 2, 2012. He liked trucks and going to four-wheeler rodeos. He also enjoyed watching B-rated horror movies. He is preceded in death in 2000 by his step-father Charles E Forsythe. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Craig (Christina) Goehring of Livingstone, MT, Clarissa (James Young) Goehring of Columbiana, OH, and Candi (Keith) McGee of Pittsburgh, PA, his sisters, Sabrina Royea of Canfield, OH, Denise Krebbs of Guilford Lake, OH, half siblings, Diane (Ronald) Heath of E Canton, OH, Pastor Charles Forsythe of Sands Springs, OK, Jeffrey Forsythe of Tuscarawas, OH, OH, Chis (Cindy) Goehring of Dover, OH, Jerry (Brenda) Goehring, of Dover, OH, Heidi (Cameron) Rolands of Fulton, OH, Tim (Tabby) Goehring of Dover, OH, 6 grandchildren and step-mother, Bonnie (Bayer) Goehring of Strasburg, OH. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 1 PM, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH.
