Obituary

Eileen Marie (Morgan) Baker born February 18, 1942 in Bergholz, Ohio to the late Raymond and Virginia Morgan, died on May 4, 2024 at the ripe old age of 82.

Eileen lived in the Salem area for over 50 years. Married on May 20, 1963 to Pernal D. Baker Sr. her husband for 57 years and the love of her life. Together they raised 6 children, Maggie, Derrick, Alice, Jeni (Dave), David and Joel (Anne). Along with their mates they added 7 grandchildren to our family, Andria, Michael, Matthew, Evan, Anne Eileen, Christopher and Leia whom she loved dearly and so much enjoyed interacting with them.

Those lost to death before her include her son John Edward Bice II, 6 brothers, 3 sisters with one surviving sister Sandy.

Being baptized along with her husband on May 12, 1974 as a Jehovah's Witness, she has left a message saying "It was the greatest thing we could come to know in our life is (Psalms 83:16-18) that Jehovah is the most high over all the earth the only true God, (Matthew 24:14) This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the earth and then the end of this system will come. (John 17:3) this means everlasting life coming to know the only true God and the one that he sent forth Christ Jesus his son, even at her death she wanted to serve Jehovah by sharing the Bible.

She continues with a remembered old song, "When I am Gone sing for me no sad song, plant no flowers at my head, Be the green grass that covers me, all dew drops wet, I hope you'll remember even though I forget, So sing me no sad songs and shed for me no tears, My eyes will not see you, my ears will not hear, so sing me no sad songs and shed for me no tears."

There is to be a private viewing and she will be laid to rest beside her husband at Franklin Square Cemetery on Salem Grange Road.
