Eleanor Mae (Yencik) Clingerman 80, of Salem, died at 3:50 PM Friday, May 10, 2024, at Salem North Health Care in Salem.

She was born on November 1, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mike and Emma (Rezny) Yencik.

Eleanor was a house wife most of her life, she was there to raise her family and care for things around the house. Her flower gardens and outdoor plants were a great love of hers, she was always growing all sorts of things. Eleanor was never alone, she was surrounded by the cats that payed her much love and attention.

She is survived by her son, Mike Hover of Leetonia, brother, Milan (Connie) Yencik of North Lima, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Clingerman.

There will be no services held at this time for Eleanor.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
