Evelyn Gail (Crawford) Bichsel, 99, passed away on Saturday, April 14 at Crandall Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born on May 12, 1918 in Salem, OH, the daughter of the late Charles Edgar and Luella Mae (Fowler) Crawford. She graduated from Salem High School in 1936 and worked at W. H. Mullins Company from 1936 until her marriage in 1942. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all. She is survived by her children, Harry C. Bichsel and Gail E. Schmidt; her grandchildren, Amanda Cook, Lucy Bichsel, Erik Schmidt, and Adam Schmidt; and her great-grandchildren, Aidan and Oliver Cook, Audrey and Martin Haber, and Maxwell and Henry Schmidt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Bichsel and sister Shirley M. Thomas. There will be a private burial. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Donations in memory of Evelyn G.
