"Reunited again and never to be seperated" Evelyn M. (Tullis) Robbins 95, of Copeland Oaks Retirement Community/Crandall Medical Center, Sebring died at 10:10 AM Thursday. She was born on February 27, 1920 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Minnie (Sell) Tullis. She has been a resident of Copeland Oaks for 8 years, lived most of her life in Salem and a short time with her daughter in Louisville. She had been previously employed as a secretary for the Salem Board of Education and then served in the same capacity at Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed needle work, reading, and her flower gardens. In her younger years she was an active golfer and bowler. She previously held numerous offices in the Salem Federation of Women's Clubs, a member of the Salem Golf Club and served in many offices there also. Evelyn not only worked at her church but it was almost a second home to her over the years. She is survived by her children, Julie Robbins Callisto of Louisville and Barry Robbins of Knoxville, Tenn., grandchildren, Garry Callisto and Cassandra Robbins, sister-in-law Agnes (late Gene) Tullis of Salem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded on November 7, 1995 by her husband, Glenn O. Robbins, whom she married on December 10, 1949, and two brothers, Warren and Gene Tullis. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, 2 PM at the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church with the Rev. Aimee Raymond officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. The burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Salem.
