IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frederick Charles
Hennan Sr
June 5, 1959 – February 25, 2022
Frederick Charles "Fred" Hennan Sr., 62, of Lisbon, died Friday morning in Lisbon.
He was born on June 5, 1959, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Donald Charles and Charlotte (Wilkes) Lawrence.
He had worked for H&H Ent. Scrapping in Gavers and did some construction work on the side.
He and his sister grew up in the area. Fred could be a good instigator to pick on his sister Betty. They played games as kids do and spent time in downtown Columbiana. As the years went on they loved to be out and about with friends and socialize as many did. He and his siblings were always around somewhere. He at times got the "attention" of the neighbors in Columbiana as he would rip up and down the streets on his mountain bikes.
He always found time to be with the family at outdoor events. You were likely to find him out cooking on the grill, playing the old rock and roll music, sharing stories, joking with all the family, playing with the grandchildren, and loving every minute of it. His passion in life was making the grandchildren happy.
Fred was one to never stay in one place very long. He had resided in numerous places around the United States as long as it was warm there. The outdoors was him and the running around on the 4 wheeler, big campfires, camping, and soaking up the elements of nature.
He was talented in many ways and could figure out how to get things done. He knew how to wrench on vehicles and other small engines. He had also worked for a company doing utility service work out of a bucket truck.
He is survived by his sons; Frederick C. Hennan Jr of Columbiana and Charles E. (Kim Quimby) Hennan of East Palestine, siblings; Elizabeth L. "Betty" Hennan of Columbiana, David A. Lawrence of Salem and Pamela M. (David) Eberle of Leetonia, grandchildren; Skylar Rose Hennan, Preston Geasman, Richard Wright, Tyler, Kalub and Kylee Quimby, great-grandchildren; Liam and Olivia Wright, A'Myah, Ari and Nova Quimby and Layne Wright, Nieces and nephews; Tim Faulkner of E. Palestine, Steve Faulkner, Kristie Gillespie, and Kayla Macklin all of Columbiana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife; Jody (Butler) Hennon, brothers; Donald "Chucky", Mark E., and David A. Lawrence.
A time of gathering and viewing will be on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 2-4 Pm at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
