Garrett Todd Vadino 10, of Salem Twp., Leetonia died Sunday evening, June 21, of an accidental drowning at Willow Grove Park in Lisbon, after slipping into the water. He was born on June 29, 2004 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Tamantha "Tammy" Sue (Carroll) Vadino and the late Todd Charles Vadino. He was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church, Ready to enter Boy Scout Troop # 2, Loved to get dressed up, in his uniforms, in suits with his fedora hat and loved his ties. He enjoyed crocodiles, kayaking, guns, camping, biking, and the outdoors. Made a recent trip with the scouts to Buffalo to the ship yards which he really enjoyed. He just completed the 4th grade at Leetonia Elementary School. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Blaine, Helena and his twin Miranda Vadino, paternal grandparents, Charles and Audrey Vadino of N. Lima, Maternal grandparents, Timothy and Barbara Carroll of Leetonia, Maternal Great grandparents, Alvin and Helen Carroll of Columbiana, Aunts/ Uncles, Karlene and Paul Wetzel of Hubbard, Alvin and Cara Carroll of Austintown, Great aunts Donna Carroll of Columbiana and Faye Morrison of Boardman, Great Uncles Tom Moore of McDonald and Russell Jenkins of Mineral Ridge, cousins Sawyer and Juliana Carroll of Austintown. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, 1:30 PM at the Locust Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Noble officiating. The burial will follow in the church yard cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Donations can be made to the Boy Scout Troop # 2 in Salem.
