George Ellis Heckaman 84, of Sherrodsville, passed away at his home Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

He was born on April 3, 1941, in Canton, Ohio, the son of the late George Clinton and Elsie (Stertzbach) Heckaman.

He is survived by his daughter Wanda Y. Heckaman of Sherrodsville and son Thomas W. Heckaman Sr of Canton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Jerrie Johns.

There are no services at this time.
