Gordon Albert Vaughn Sr., 87, of Salem, died at 10:53 PM Thursday at Salem Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the US Army and a manager in sales with Montgomery Ward and worked at various store locations including Boardman until 1989. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ella Darlene (Blakeman) Vaughn, four children, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Per Gordon's wishes, A private family burial was held early Saturday morning in Petersburg Cemetery.
