Grace Kathleen (McCartney) "Kathy" Davidson 77, of Salem, passed away at 1:45 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Salem.

She was born February 18, 1948, in Salem, the daughter of the late Ray and Ellen (Nesbitt) McCartney.

Kathy was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from United Local Schools. She spent many of her years thoughtfully taking care of her home and raising her children. Kathy was an avid book reader and loved to spend time in her kitchen baking. She enjoyed watching movies, especially old Westerns on TV. Kathy was a natural born helper, most recently lending aid when needed at the AmVets in Salem.

She is survived by her children; Lisa (Don Fife JR) Hutter of Salem and Tonia (Chris Conner) Yoho of Lisbon, step-children; Linda (Jeffrey) Myers of Canton, Laura (Mike Dreher) Myers, Peggy (Tim) Gandee, and Mary (Robert) Sinsley all of Salem, as well as many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death on January 24, 2021, by her husband Oscar "Slim" Willis Davidson, step-daughter Kathy Kelly, her brothers; George, Don, Floyd, and Harry McCartney, and sister Betty Farmer.

There are private family services planned for Kathy. She will be laid to rest alongside her late husband in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
